Alexandra read English at Cambridge University, and later studied creative writing at the University of Sussex. She has composed film and television soundtracks, most recently for a Channel 4 series, and published a number of short stories and poems in small journals. One of her short stories is featured in Best British Short Stories 2012 (Salt). She lives in Hastings.
Her debut novel The Beauty of Murder will be published by Orion in Autumn 2012.
