imageimage Robyn Young is the author of Brethren (2006), the first novel in a trilogy set in the world of the Knights Templar, and its sequel Crusade (2007), both published by Hodder & Stoughton (UK) and Dutton/Penguin (US). Her new work, the Insurrection trilogy, is based on the thrilling and majestic life of Robert The Bruce, one of history's greatest heroic rebels. The first novel in the series, Insurrection, was published October 2010, and the second, Renegade, in August 2012, both by Hodder & Stoughton. The third and concluding chapter, Kingdom, is published in hardcover June 2014. Her books have also been bestsellers in Sweden, Germany, France, Holland, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Bulgaria.

Robyn has a Masters in Creative Writing with distinction from the University of Sussex. She lives in Brighton.
